With the imminent launch of the 1st eco village upon us (London), we are keen to speak to Dom & Mirthful Merryweather to find out as much as we can about this nationwide project, how to get involved and much more.

“Hi Everyone Dom and Mirthful here.
Hope that this message finds you well and at least some of you ready to begin a new way of living with all of the excitement and uncertainty that this involves. We have found land in London and are ready to swoop.

We would therefore like to invite you to become involved at any level and in any way you wish ie. in the swoop itself, building structures once we’re on, such as benders, cob structures, chicken coops, compost toilets, etc., outreach to the community, permaculture, planting, beekeeping etc., sharing your ideas, what you would like to see coming from this experience either for yourself or others.

We will be posting the meeting place and date of swoop very soon so keep in contact if you are interested. This is as well an open invitation to visit even if you cannot be there on the day of the swoop.
Please feel free to come on day of swoop even if you do not wish to stay living on the space.

That’s not the official ‘name’. I just made it up. Freeman / Sovereign / Common Law / self sufficient (or semi self sufficient) eco village project could be a longer description.

Dom and Mirthful have arrived in the North East after travelling to London, Liverpool & Birmingham. Here are some details below. Nothing is definite, nothing has been planned as such but this is the seed we are planting and we’ll see how it grows. We are in Birmingham any one interested in being part of new common lawful ecovillage with permaculture suppressed technology etc.; anyone who has skills, enthusiasm, anyone who would like to be the solution and wants to learn as well as teach in community please get in touch. If you would like us to visit your area for land reclaim also please let us know. We will also be at Glastonbury Festival, anyone that wants to meet up there. Plus prior to that on 10th St. Albans Howard Marks at The Horn public house followed by Magna Carta weekend for St. Albans Festival 11th- 13th to; as it is written on the leaflets; to celebrate our rights and freedoms. Including Lecture on Magna Carta by Right Honourable Lord Bingham. Calling all men women children and people that know they are free to be peaceful happy and on the land, to really celebrate our inalienable natural rights join us for a weekend camping.
