The UK Column
In the October 2009 print edition of the UK Column, we reported in our article “BBC Hides Truth of Girl’s Sexual Abuse Ordeal” the shocking ordeal of Downs Syndrome girl, Hollie Greig, who was horribly abused by an Aberdeen paedophile ring, over a period of ten years. After investigating and planning a documentary, the BBC abruptly dropped the case, despite admitting that Hollie was a reliable and accurate witness. It is important to stress that both the police and qualified medical experts have described Hollie as a competent and entirely honest witness.
From the age of just six, Hollie was repeatedly sexually abused by her father, Denis Charles Mackie. Later, Mackie began sharing his daughter with a gang of paedophile “swingers” that has been operating in Aberdeen for many years. The identities of a further seven child victims are already known. There is no question that the gang are well-connected, efficiently organised and totally ruthless. Our frightening story is that they are protected by individuals of “high standing” within the Scottish establishment.
In 2000, after 14 years of terrified silence, Hollie eventually told her mother, Anne, about the abuses. Formal statements were made to Grampian Police, providing all the horrifying details and the names of the abusers. They included a senior Scottish Sheriff, a policeman, social workers, a nurse, a solicitor, an accountant, a fire officer, married couples and others. Some of the rapes were carried out at the homes of these individuals, including that of the Sheriff’s sister. Other children were sometimes involved, including children of the paedophiles themselves.
The latest chapters in this astonishing and horrifying story about Hollie, and the seven other abused children, have taken place over the past few weeks. The key issues are a continued refusal by Grampian police to fully investigate the overwhelming evidence for the paedophile rapes, and a wall of silence by the Scottish establishment.
Whilst there has been some general Scottish media coverage, notably in The Firm and the Aberdeen Press and Journal, the media has been largely silent on what must be one of Scotlands worst top level paedophile scandles. A key figure in the press silence is the Lord Advocate, in her former role as Procurator Fiscal in Aberdeen, when in 2000 she is alleged to have effectively buried the case. Was this to prevent her associate and most influential member of the paedophile ring, Sheriff X, from being investigated, along with the other named members of the fifteen-strong rape gang?
Elish Angiolini, the Scottish Lord Advocate, is in charge of all criminal prosecutions. She is alleged to have reacted immediately to public calls for a full police investigation, by pressurising against publication. Subsequently, and under considerable duress, The Firm published an apology. Shortly afterwards the Press and Journal ran a story accurately describing the case, mentioning a sheriff and police officer without identifying them. Angiolini was not discussed in the article.
Mrs Angiolini`s role in the case recently aroused further suspicion, when it was claimed that she had used a private law firm, Levy and McRae, to issue warnings against all major Scottish editors, threatening them with legal action if any mention was made of her involvement in the case. Suspicious and angry, many individuals directly working to obtain justice for Hollie, as well as a growing number of the general public, now consider that key establishment figures, many with direct responsibility for criminal investigations and justice, have made a concerted and continuous effort to conceal the facts from the people of Scotland. Despite the pressure, investigators and campaigners for Hollie continue to stress that they hold documentary proof of the Lord Advocate’s actions, as well as proof that she has repeatedly failed to tell the whole truth about her connections with the Hollie abuse case for whatever reason.
The senior partner in the Law Firm, Peter Watson, who is also head of litigation, is understood to have refused to comment as to whether the firm’s fees have been billed to Mrs Angiolini personally, or if they are being paid by the Scottish taxpayer.
Mrs Angiolini’s office decided in December 2009 that they would not pursue the case due to “insufficient evidence.” Corroborating evidence by private investigators and researchers indicates that other than Hollie, not one of the twenty-four named abusers and victims has even been questioned by Grampian Police.
This follows the pattern of 2000, when the crimes and perpetrators were first reported. At that time, the police later admitted that only one of the gang, Hollie`s father, had even been interviewed.
The UK Column is aware that investigators have just received from the Crown Office, after years of rebuttals, the Post Mortem report of Robert David Greig, brother of Hollie`s mother Anne. Robert died mysteriously in an alleged car fire in 1997. Despite extreme inconsistencies in witness statements and circumstances, no inquest took place and the cause of death was officially due to smoke inhalation.
The Post Mortem stated that Robert has suffered considerable damage to his skull, two broken ribs and a broken sternum. Informal professional medical opinion so far is of the view that Robert had been severely beaten, had alcohol forced down his throat and then thrown into the burning vehicle.
Although this was not known at the time, Hollie, in 2001, told her mother that just prior to his unexplained death, Robert had caught Hollie`s father sexually abusing her.
The campaign for justice for Hollie, and other vulnerable victims of paedophiles in England and South Wales, not only goes on, but has intensified as outraged members of the public have flooded Aberdeen with leaflets naming all current members of the gang, including the head of a special school. All Aberdeen Councillors and MPs have also been alerted, but with little effect. There appears to be a conspiracy of establishment silence where the abuse of Hollie is concerned. Many people in Aberdeen are asking just who possesses the courage and decency to stand up against these staggering and shocking crimes against most vulnerable members of society? Certainly not their elected national and local representatives.
UK Column volunteers continue to be shocked by the quantity and quality of evidence reaching them on the subject of paedophile and sexual abuse against young and vulnerable children in care and otherwise. The common theme is that victims and their supporters are unable to get any real support from Members of Parliament, Local Councillors, the Judiciary, Police and other ‘officials’. Many describe the creation of a wall of silence, often accompanied by targetted intimidation against the victims.
Recently a policeman personally told the UK Column that police had themselves experienced their own paedopile investigations suddenly being dropped by senior police officers. He added “If you want to really get to the paedophiles you should look at Westminster”. The implications of this statement are frightening – a paedophile ring amongst our political leaders – the political elite which has control of education and Social Services? The general public needs to open its eyes and confront this evil – and fast.

DEFAMATION AND MENTAL ABUSE
As you are aware these videos show the mental abuse inflicted on Hollie during the last nine years and is sexually degrading to a dependant defenceless adult Down´s Syndrome woman and her family. This is not about the welfare of the woman but an attempt to use her for commercial professional journalism and to politically attack a string of people not in anyway connected with Hollie and her family. The disturbing, inappropriate and irresponsible allegations herein have been fully investigated by the lawful legal authorities and the human beings unjustly and unlawfully accused are innocent. This can be proven and documented.
Clearly these videos are highly offensive and defamatory. Clearly they grossly infringe inalienable fundamental rights of Hollie and her family.

The first reply to this article from the user ‘justiceforhollie’ has been likened to “total Orwellian double-speak” when a fellow North East Truther first saw it. I completely agree. Contrary to what you claim, the so called ‘legal lawful authorities’ have not questioned all of the alleged perpetrators and have in fact put their full weight of authority into doing the opposite.
If it was libellous defamation, then Robert Green, the UK Column and numerous others would have been prosecuted long before now. In fact, the arrest of Robert Green will only increase exposure and it is now obvious that he is a beacon of truth when the best ‘they’ can do is lift him from his hotel room and attempt to prosecute for ‘Breach of the Peace’. Lets see what happens in court on Monday. The lights are now shining on you very brightly.

Only a few weeks ago I heard in the news that a father murdered a neighbour because his 11 year old daughter had wrongly accused him of being a pervert. How would you feel if you caused a similar event by publishing addresses of similarly innocent people on your website? No case is proven, and you do not know the truth despite what your website name implies. Clearly you dont care, and I suspect you are just using this case for your own agenda, whatever that is.

No doubt the site has received communication from Levy & McRae threatening libel for information that has been online for approaching 2 years. Hollie was paid compensation for her abuses. BBC staff have admitted there is a case after seeing all of the evidence and a bizarre dropping of the programme before it was completed. I smell a few degrees in action there Dod. We would have also expected the alleged pepertrators to have been interviewed and this fully investigated, which clearly they have not. All evidence is at the site.
As this is a site run voluntarily by seekers of the truth who make no money from such activities, we do not run a 24 hour moderation service and quite frankly, information hubs that do are often guilty of suppressing vital and factual information. Light was shone on the address issue and to remain honourable, we removed the details. Not because we believe it is wrong to know where the accused operate, but because we understand that there are people out there who resort to violence when justice is crushed. Although we are not the source of the information, we would not like to be even slightly linked to violent behavior and thus, took the action seen.
To be honest, your attempts at linking allegedly innocent victims of murder to what you have described as “similarly innocent people” is highly questionable considering the mountains of evidence available at the site and at the UK Column. However I would like to read about this so please send a link to the story you mentioned.
Truth is something you can only create in your own mind after doing your own research and looking at all of the information at hand. We simply show ‘our truth’ which everyone must find themselves. The more you fight this, the more we will fight back with evidence. The evidence suggests not only that people in positions of authority have actively fought incredibly hard to prevent this being investigated but that people in positions of authority are part of the paeophile rape circuit. This is not new.
We have not even begun to speak about the probable murder of Hollie Greig’s uncle or the terrible record that someone like Elish Angiolini has where acting on behalf of raped children are concerned. You state you dont believe a word of it, which again I find bizarre considering the evidence available.
Lets see what happens with Robert Green and the Court of Session order and any other ‘gagging’ which is a great way of preventing information being spread around without charging Robert Green with an offence (not this nonsense breach of the peace attempt). I can smell the Gulags, can you Dod?

LATEST REPORT FROM STONEHAVEN 2.12pm today 15 February 2010
Our group are standing by at Stonehaven reporting that a SPECIAL cop unit has been drafted in as they have been expecting trouble? from Robert’s friends and supporters. Unmarked cop cars have been watching the roads to Stonehaven from Aberdeen where the hearing should have taken place. Robert had a 15 minute hearing IN CAMERA at Stonehaven which means “NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC”. He has been released on BAIL and we are waiting to talk to him about his experience locked up over the weekend even before he got to the area of Aberdeen he was going to be protesting at.

Robert Green’s son went to his fathers house on Thursday night and he found a (letter or a writ) we do not know which was from Sheriff Buchanan, it had been put through the letter box. He did not pay much attention to it, but left it on the table in the house.
Mr Green’s daughter was advised to get her brother who lives in the area to go round and check the house, as the Police may have raided the house, the son went round and found that the (letter or writ) that he left on the table had gone, and the hard drive of his computer had gone, and it appeared that some things had been moved about, but the house had not been broken into. (They obviously used his keys to get into his house) they either sent a copy of them down from Aberdeen to the local Police to go into the house, or some of the Police in Aberdeen drove down with his keys and searched the house. Have they had a warrant or did Mr Green give them permission to search his house?.
We do not know, the daughter was advised to tell her brother not to leave the house, also to tell her brother to get a friend to come round to the house and then call the Police to report someone had been in the house and taken the (letter or writ) that was from Sheriff Buchanan, and that the hard drive from the computer had gone, and that things had been moved around.
The brother does not want anyone else involved in the matter, so he is going to stay in the house until Mr Green’s daughter comes up from London today, and they will call the Police so that they have witnesses to what they say to the Police. The son was advised not to leave the house, as the Police or MI5 may have taken the hard drive away and may have put something nasty on it, then put it back in the house, then raid the house next day and take the computer hard drive. The house may now have a BUG planted in it, so they will already know what is going on. If they had no warrant, and no permission from Mr Green to enter his house, then this is an illegal search. But we do not know if Mr Green has given his permission for the search.

Perhaps but these people have more than Magna Carta protecting them they are the law and they are refussing to investigate it ,magna carta is as much use as toilet paper in this case
this case must be brought to court the public have a right to see justice being carried out and the media are failing us if they continiu to ignore the allegations .

I have just noticed that the link I provided above is not working. As I said above, Network of those Abused by Church (NAC) supports Robert Green in his fight for justice for Hollie. In fact, Belinda McKenzie, who is in this fight with Mr Green, is our landlady. Hollie’s case is potentially explosive when it comes to clerical sexual abuse. There is a taboo to be broken here, and if it is not done outside the sphere of Church influence, what little chance is there that it will ever be done in such a case involving clergy of one description or another? This is why, at NAC, we consider this case extremely important. We are also well aware of the harassment and intimidation that comes with the territory. Only this week our website was removed from the Internet.

“This letter has been sent to all 74 Councillors in Shropshire.
Dear Councillor,
I am the lay legal representative for two Shropshire residents, Anne Greig and her daughter Hollie Greig.
Hollie has Downs Syndrome and in her childhood she was sexually abused by a gang of paedophiles in her home city of Aberdeen. Hollie was awarded £13,500 from the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority despite the fact that no-one was ever charged with any crime. Anne and Hollie moved from Aberdeen to Shropshire with the intention of starting a new life.
In 2010 the campaign for Hollie’s abusers to be brought to justice gathered considerable momentum in spite of the fact that it has not been reported by the mainstream media. It appears that there are powerful forces attempting to protect Hollie’s abusers and to ensure that her story is not told. Unfortunately, Shropshire Council, rather than offering protection and support to these two vulnerable women, have actually subjected them to harassment and intimidation.
The most serious incident occurred on June 3rd 2010 when my clients house was broken into by 3 police officers accompanied by 2 employees of Shropshire Council. Less than 2 hours prior to the break-in I was contacted by DC Ed Bates of West Mercia Police who advised me that Social Services had contacted the police as they had concerns about Hollie’s safety and wellbeing. I assured DC Bates that Hollie was safe and well and that she was taking a short holiday with her mother. In spite of my assurances, the Greigs house was raided and was basically vandalised. The police and Council employees were in the property for 3 hours and Anne’s computer and various personal items were removed.
I am aware that on June 1st 2010 Social Services in Shropshire were contacted by a Mr Greg Lance-Watkins of Chepstow who claimed to be concern for Hollie’s safety and wellbeing. Mr Lance-Watkins, who has never met Hollie, is a full-time blogger who holds various strange and extreme opinions ( a google search of his name will demonstrate this). I am shocked that Shropshire Council appear to have been influenced by this person, who claims to be in contact with Hollie’s brother, who is one of the people she has named as having abused her. On June 10th 2010 a photograph which was removed from the Greigs house during the raid appeared on one of Mr Lance-Watkins blogs.
I have written to the Chief Executive of Shropshire Council, Mr Kim Ryley, who assured me that the Council had no prior knowledge of the raid. I have recently learned from the Information Commission that this statement is untrue. I have twice attempted to talk about this matter at Public Meetings of Shropshire Council and have been prevented from doing so although from conversations with individual Councillors it has became clear to me that elected representatives have no knowledge whatsoever of these events.
I believe that Kim Ryley is personally responsible both for the harassment and intimidation of two vulnerable women and for lying in an attempt to cover up his actions. Therefore I consider that he is not a suitable person to hold the postion of Chief Executive of Shropshire Council and I would ask that you take the necessary actions to remove him from office.
I have only provided a short summary of the facts and if you wish to have more information or to see documentary evidence please feel free to contact me.

“After my arrest for Breach of the Peace on February 12th 2010, a tape recorded interview was conducted by 2 Grampian Police officers: DS Drummond and DC Crowder. During the interview I made reference to a very serious crime which I believe had been committed and identified an individual whom I had strong reason to believe was responsible.
To the best of my knowledge, the police and Procurator Fiscal, have made no attempt whatsoever to investigate this allegation and have not questioned the person I named. Due to the bail conditions which were imposed on me recently, I am unable to comment further on this matter.
When I eventually received written transcripts of the interview eight months later, I was shocked to discover that there was no reference whatsoever to the allegations I mentioned above. This is a very significant omission both in terms of my own defence and, much more seriously, in terms of an allegation of a very serious crime appearing to vanish without trace.
In late 2010 I asked both Stephen McGowan, Procurator Fiscal for Aberdeen at the time of my arrest, and his successor, Andrew Richardson, for an explanation of why this allegation did not appear on the transcript. I have yet to receive any response”
